How to Wear a Medical Mask Correctly: Double Nose Support Molding + 3D/4D Fit Check
If your mask feels loose, slips, or gets stuffy, the issue is often the wearing sequence—not you. This step-by-step guide shows how to mold double nose supports and check whether a 3D/4D structure keeps comfortable space.
Start with the right order
A comfortable fit comes from sequence: confirm the mask orientation, then mold the nose area, and finally check the sides and bottom coverage.
Double nose support: mold along the line
Instead of pinching only the center, press along both sides of the nose support with your fingertips to help the top edge seal more evenly.
Check 3D/4D structure: look for collapse resistance
After wearing, speak for a few seconds and feel whether the mask collapses against your mouth. Better 3D/4D structure usually maintains shape and airflow.
Use a quick self-check table
Evaluate top seal, side fit, bottom coverage, and breathing space. If something feels off, adjust height and re-mold the nose support before changing products.
